Hello readers, writers and fantasy fans!
I am so excited to share with you the launch of my new website! I plan to share with you a bit about daily life, book updates and gift items here in the store for readers and fans of The Cat's Eye Chronicles.... and many more series to come. :-)
What inspired me to set up a shop and a new website? The Cat's Eye Chronicles has garnered a small but fierce readership over the two decades it's been online. It seems like every time I tried to walk away from the series--either from frustration, life events or just plain writer's block--a friendly email arrived from a reader, reminding me of the characters and the world I had abandoned.
Most of all, I missed Crash and Sora and their world of adventure! In 2020, as the pandemic took hold of the world, I decided it was time to leave behind my corporate career and get back to doing what I love the most--writing! And connecting with fellow fantasy geeks, of course.
I have so many new book series I want to finish and release, it's staggering! I feel like the last few years, I have approached writing similar to a stream of water running downhill. My creativity keeps splitting in many directions, but I know eventually I will reach the ocean! Here are some upcoming series and book releases to look forward to. I hesitate to post a date until I'm 100% certain I won't need to move it, but in order of anticipated release, here are the books hitting the market in the next few years:
Cerastes Curse (The Cat's Eye Chronicles, Book 6)
Long anticipated, Cerastes Curse will follow Crash and Sora's final adventure as they reunite to battle the Dark God and save the world from certain doom. Can Sora survive the removal of her Cat's Eye necklace? Will Crash risk all to save the woman he loves? I don't know, but I can't wait to find out. Come on muses, let's go!
The Fire's Bane (The Dragon Pearl Trilogy, Book 2)
Darius and Sienna travel across the desert to root out an evil sorcerer bent on using the dragon pearl for nefarious ends. In the meantime, it looks like The White's egg is close to hatching, and Sienna might become an unexpected dragon mom. Will her special talents allow her to bond with baby White?
The Indigo Witch (Tales of Whisperwold, Book 1)
Ms. Blackbutton, a retired necromancer, moved to Whisperwold to get far away from the city and those terrible, meddling wizards. She only wants a life of anonymity out in the countryside. When a girl in a golden dress appears on Ms. Blackbutton's doorstep, claiming to be the reincarnation of the Earth goddess, her mother's wisdom rings true: "Magic always find a witch!"
High school student Violet Winters is reeling from grief over the trauma of losing her parents. She is literally shattered to pieces. One night, she falls into a deep slumber and meets the King of Dreams, who promises to restore her to her whole self, if only she will help him recover his lost Kingdom of Panumbra, which has been usurped by an evil beast queen. Can Violet help the dream king, and heal her broken heart along the way?
Thank You for Your Support!
Last but not least, I want to thank all of the readers who've supported my work, either by purchasing ebooks and signed copies, necklaces, cosplaying characters at events, or sending encouraging emails. You are darn fine people! I am slow to reply to messages on social media (since I'm usually waist deep in a manuscript), but please always feel free to drop me a message. If you're looking for a way to help me write more books and faster, please consider ordering an item off of this website. It goes towards feeding my muse! (Literally, Top Ramen and coffee are a muse's best friend!)
